WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine
The Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) Division, Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia has been officially designated by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine since 29 June 2020. The Centre will support WHO in education and capacity-building activities, provide technical assistance to Member states, and collaborate with WHO on regulation and policy associated with T&CM practice.
Terms of Reference
- At WHO’s request, support WHO’s technical activities towards the implementation of the WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy by strengthening knowledge base on integration of traditional and complementary medicine in national health systems.
- At WHO’s request and in collaboration with WHO, support WHO’s technical activities towards capacity building of Member States and non-profit stakeholders in traditional and complementary medicine.
