WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine

The Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) Division, Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia has been officially designated by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine since 29 June 2020. The Centre will support WHO in education and capacity-building activities, provide technical assistance to Member states, and collaborate with WHO on regulation and policy associated with T&CM practice.

 

Terms of Reference

  1. At WHO’s request, support WHO’s technical activities towards the implementation of the WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy by strengthening knowledge base on integration of traditional and complementary medicine in national health systems.
  2. At WHO’s request and in collaboration with WHO, support WHO’s technical activities towards capacity building of Member States and non-profit stakeholders in traditional and complementary medicine.
