RECOGNIZED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF T&CM PRACTITIONER REGISTRATION UNDER THE TRADITIONAL AND COMPLEMENTARY MEDICINE (T&CM) ACT 2016

The Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) Act 2016 [Act 775] was enforced in Malaysia on 1 August 2016. Any person who intends to practice T&CM in Malaysia in any recognised practice area shall register with the T&CM Council which is established under the Act. According to Section 25 of Act 775, “a person who is not a registered practitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, practice the traditional and complementary medicine services.”
