TRADITIONAL AND COMPLEMENTARY MEDICINE (T&CM) EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES
The Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) Division as a regulatory agency in Ministry of Health Malaysia plays a vital role in working together with interested stakeholders such as the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) dan Ministry of Human Resources in the development of T&CM education and skills training.
In general, the education or training of an individual who wishes to practice T&CM can be divided into two categories, namely the Higher Education (Academic) pathway or skills training pathway. Both pathways are described in the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF), Second Edition, December 2017.
MQF is an instrument that develops and classifies qualifications based on a set of criteria that is agreed nationally and benchmarked with international practices. MQF clarifies the academic levels, learning outcomes and credit system based on student academic load.
8 qualification levels (MQF 1-8) dan 3 sectors (pathways): Academic, TVET (Skills) dan Lifelong Learning as described in the MQF for the development of education and skills in Malaysia
