NOTIFICATION OF ERRORS DETECTED IN SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FOR / RENEWAL OF REGISTERED PRACTITIONER'S PRACTISING CERTIFICATE
The T&CM Council Section (CMPTK) has discovered errors in applications submitted by practitioners as follows:
1) Issues regarding the application for registration as a registered practitioner:
a) Application by an applicant who is practising in a non-recognized practice area.
Example: A naturopathy practitioner applying for registration in the Traditional Indian Medicine subfield of Yoga & Naturopathy
b) Applicants submitting a new application for addition of a subarea in Traditional Malay Medicine (TMM). Applications to add a subarea in TMM only require an official letter written by the practitioner accompanied by submission of proof of a recognized qualification in that subarea. There is no application fee involved at present for this purpose.
2) Issues regarding applications for a registered practitioner's practising certificate:
a) Applicants applying for a registered practitioner's practice certificate before obtaining approval for registration from the T&M Council;
b) Applicants applying for a registered practitioner's practising certificate (Form I) when they should have applied for renewal of registered practitioner's practising certificate (Form J), or vice versa.
CMPTK will not be responsible if the error causes delays in the application process. CMPTK will also not refund the payment that has been made if the application has been processed. Hence, applicants are advised to be more careful when submitting the relevant applications.
