FALSIFICATION OF MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATE (SKM)/ MALAYSIAN SKILLS DIPLOMA (DKM) QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS

The Traditional and Complementary Medicine Council Section (T&CMCS) has received several T&CM practitioner registration applications with suspected falsified SKM/DKM qualification certificates and the Department of Skills Development has verified that these certificates were indeed fraudulent.

The T&CMCS views this matter seriously. Hence, random verification audits will now be conducted from time to time for monitoring purposes and to confirm the authenticity of such qualification documents.

Please be reminded that falsification of documents for the purpose of deception is an offence under Section 468 of the Penal Code (Act 574). T&CM practitioners found to be involved in document falsification may be subject to legal action as well as disciplinary action.
