Introduction: Management of impacted teeth remains a challenge to clinicians today. The
use of miniscrew has expanded the span of possible mechanical traction of impacted teeth
without compromising the remaining dentition. Case report: This case report describes
management of horizontally impacted upper left central incisor and canine. A 12-year-old
female presented with missing upper front teeth. Both impacted teeth were exposed
surgically with closed technique. The impacted incisor was bonded with a gold chain and
impacted canine with a modified button with long ligature. The canine was tracted in a
horizontal direction distally away from the impacted incisor with the aid of the miniscrew.
Both impacted incisor and canine were brought into alignment after 42 months of
treatment. The treatment involved a combination of surgical procedures, orthodontic
treatment, frenectomy and gingivectomy. Conclusion: Through a multidisciplinary team
collaborative effort, both upper left central incisor and canine were successfully brought
            into alignment.
