Introduction

All registered optometrists and opticians who wish to practice optometry in Malaysia must apply for an Annual Certificate of Practice (APC) within the period of time stipulated by MOC.

Registered opticians or optometrists are required to display their current APC at the premises where they practice optometry. APC should be displayed in a conspicuous place. The purposes are to raise awareness and educate customers in choosing qualified personnel for eye examinations.
