SPECIALIST DENTAL SERVICES

 

  1. Specialist oral healthcare services in the Ministry of Health consist of nine (9) areas categorized into two (2) main groups, namely Hospital Based and Non-Hospital Based dental specialties.
  1. Hospital Based Dental specialty services consist of five (5) dental specialties as follows:
  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Paediatric Dentistry
  • Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine
  • Special Care Dentistry
  • Forensic Odontology
  1. Non-Hospital Based Dental specialty services consist of four (4) dental specialties as follows:
  • Orthodontics
  • Periodontics
  • Restorative Dentistry
