DENTAL NURSE

If you are caring, patient, able to communicate well and love children as well, a career as a Dental Nurse is suitable for you:-

Perform dental examinations and treatments for children and students up to 17 years of age.
Get involved in all dental health promotion activities through lectures and exhibitions including providing audiovisual materials.
Dental nurses who have followed specialization courses in various disciplines will work in dental specialist clinics and are allowed to provide certain treatments to adults.

DENTAL TECHNOLOGIST

If you are someone who is interested in artwork, interested in electrical and electronic equipment (having good manual dexterity is more suitable) and interested in being part of the dental team at the Ministry of Health, a career as a Dental Technologist is right for you. Dental Technologists are responsible for:

Design, process and produce dental appliances such as prosthetics, orthodontics and maxillo-facial.
Manage procurement, maintenance and repair of dental equipment

DENTAL SURGERY ASSISTANT

If you have a lively character, polite, patient, caring and able to communicate well, you are invited to join a career as a Dental Surgery Assistant.

Assisting Dental Officers and Dental Nurses in managing patients
Responsible for the control of cross infection in the treatment room
Register patients at the registration counter
Collect dental treatment fees from patients and issue receipts
Computerized patient data management
