SENIOR CITIZEN DENTAL SERVICE

The programme for the ELDERLY group is aimed at improving their oral health and quality of life through instilling awareness of oral health for the elderly and their carers, developing appropriate self-care practices and provision of care at various identified institutions. Whilst care at dental clinics and outreach services to institutions, community or day-care centers are more established in some states than in others, the provision of domiciliary care is has not taken off due to various constraints.
