The Ministry of Health Malaysia with the support from World Health Organization (WHO) will be organizing the National Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Seminar in conjunction with World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2021 on 24th November 2021. The objectives of this seminar are to improve awareness on the need to protect antimicrobial efficacy and to encourage behaviour change towards prudent and responsible use of antimicrobials across all relevant sectors. The seminar also aims to make AMR a nationally recognized issue with engagement in all sectors and to increase recognition of the roles that individuals, governments, civil society, organizations must all play in tackling AMR.
