Malaysia is moving towards a more sustainable, smart and people-centred health system transformation through the development of the Malaysia Digital HEALTH Master Plan 2026–2055. This master plan is the country’s strategic direction to strengthen the digital health ecosystem over the next three decades by leveraging data-driven approaches, digitalisation of services, artificial intelligence, system interoperability and efficient and sustainable digital governance. This initiative is in line with the country’s aspiration to strengthen the health system through digital innovation, improve the efficiency of service delivery and empower the use of technology to support more accurate, fast and evidence-based decision-making.
