The Medical Development Division is responsible for policy setting and implementation, planning and development of medical services. Its objective is to provide comprehensive medical services that support primary health care, in accordance with policies and standards of Ministry of Health (MoH), by harnessing appropriate technology towards achieving improved health and quality of life to population. The functions of Division are carried out by 5 main sections/unit which are : Medical Services Development Section, Medical Care Quality Section, Medical Professional Development Section, Malaysian Health Technology Assessment Section and Medical Aid Fund Technical Assessment Unit
