Roles and responsibilities of the SIG officer in charge
- Clinical role
– Assist nephrologist during visiting clinic
– Attend to patients presented with PD-related problems during office hours.
- Role as liaison officer
– The SIG officer will also take up the role as liaison officer to discuss every PD case with acute or new problems with the parent PDC.
- PD patient’s data monitoring
- Education and advovacy to other staff
